Raleigh, NC – – Elon University has expanded their fan base by welcoming Capital Bank as the official banking partner of Elon Phoenix Athletics to benefit residents of Alamance County.
“One of the great aspects of Capital Bank’s partnership with us is they have a direct relationship with the campus, the athletics department and the students. It’s not just about their name on a scoreboard at the stadium, but truly being a part of Alamance County, “ said Lucas Kraut of Elon Phoenix Sports Properties.
As part of the partnership, Capital Bank will participate in the Phoenix Sports Sponsorship Symposium as a charter member of the new “Phoenix B2B Council”. The Council was established to ensure its members not only have positive interaction with the students and staff of Elon University but also with other Elon Athletics sponsors.
The partnership calls on student athletes to assist with philanthropic events. Kraut continued “For instance, when Capital Bank sponsored a lunch for Habitat for Humanity workers the Elon football and volleyball teams and coaches went to the building site on behalf of the bank to serve the lunch.
